Chennai, Formerly known as Madras, is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu and is India’s fifth largest city. It is located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal, it is the biggest cultural, economic and educational centre of south India.

India is the most interesting place for me as photographer. I have seen a lot of photographs from India before, the very strong lighting, colorful and culturally unique life, especially the way of life of Indian people.

Since I saw a lot of vibrant photographs of India, I decided to go with black and white film during my trip. I used Ricoh GR1v and Kodak Tri-X film.
